Medical store billing software

Medical store billing software that runs the whole counter

Bilzy Pharmacy is medical store billing software for Indian chemists. The distributor's bill is typed once and becomes batch-wise stock; the sale picks the earliest-expiry batch, sells by strip or by tablet, fills the Schedule H1 register and prints a GST invoice; udhaar, expiry and profit are reported without a second entry. It runs on Windows, Android and in a browser for ₹699 a year, works offline, and 10,000+ bills have been made on Bilzy.

A day at the medical store, in the software

  • Morning: the distributor's bill arrives. Type it once — each line becomes stock with batch, expiry, MRP and cost. Schemes and free goods are worked into the real cost per strip.
  • Counter: type the first letters, pick the batch (the earliest expiry is already chosen), quantity, Enter. Loose tablets go in as tablets. Print, or send on WhatsApp.
  • A prescription drug: the doctor and patient go on the bill and the Schedule H1 register fills itself.
  • A regular who pays later: the bill goes to udhaar; collect against the bill when they come back, and the statement shows every rupee.
  • Evening: today's sale, profit and cash; what expires this month; what is short.
  • Month end: GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B as files for the GST offline tool; Tally export for the accountant.

Everything a medical store needs

  • Batch-wise stock with expiry and MRP; billing picks the earliest-expiry batch first (FEFO)
  • Cut-strip selling — 3 tablets from a 10-tablet strip, priced, stocked and profited per tablet
  • Purchase bill entry that becomes stock as you type it, with scheme, free goods and trade discount worked into the cost
  • Schedule H1 register with doctor, registration number and patient details, as Rule 65 requires
  • GST invoices with HSN and rate-wise summary; GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B as JSON for the offline tool
  • Quick Bill: a picture grid of medicines you tap, with "t pill"-style search that finds T-Pill
  • Parties in one place — every customer and supplier, bill-wise collection, statement, export
  • Expiry, short-expiry and low-stock reports you can walk the shelves with
  • Sale-wise and day-wise profit, after discount and after the GST you claim back
  • Loyalty points, salesman commission, refill reminders on WhatsApp
  • Thermal 58 mm / 80 mm and A4 / A5 printing across fourteen invoice designs
  • Tally export (XML vouchers) for the accountant
  • The national list of 3.3 lakh medicines kept on the PC itself, so it works with no internet
  • Updates itself on the Windows PC; nothing to reinstall

Moving from a register or from another software

Upload the medicine list from Excel — the old software's export or a typed register — and it becomes stock with batch and expiry. Customers and suppliers with opening balances come in the same file. Most shops are billing on Bilzy the same afternoon.

What it costs a medical store

₹699 a year for the counter PC — about ₹58 a month, under ₹2 a day. ₹999 a year adds the owner's phone on the same account. There is no per-bill charge, no AMC and no charge for updates.

Questions chemists ask

Which software is best for a medical store?▾

A medical store needs batch and expiry, loose sale, Schedule H1 and GST — Bilzy Pharmacy does all four for ₹699 a year on PC, Android and browser, and works offline. It is built for the single retail counter; a distributor or a chain is a different problem.

Does it keep the Schedule H1 register?▾

Yes. H1 sales record the prescribing doctor, registration number and patient address on the bill, and the register is a report you print — no second entry in a book.

Can I sell loose tablets?▾

Yes. Sell 3 tablets from a 10-tablet strip; the bill is priced per tablet, stock moves as a fraction of the strip and profit is worked on the tablet cost.

How much does Bilzy Pharmacy cost?▾

₹699 a year for the counter PC, ₹999 a year for the PC plus the owner's phone, or ₹2699 for three years paid once. Phone only is ₹499 a year. There is no monthly fee, no per-bill charge and no AMC. The first 7 days are free with no card.

Does it work without internet?▾

Yes. Billing, the medicine list and the reports all work offline — the 3.3 lakh-medicine list lives on the computer. Your data syncs to the cloud when the connection returns, and the same account opens on the phone and in a browser.

Can someone with no computer experience use it?▾

Yes. A bill is typed with the keyboard alone — medicine, batch, quantity, Enter — and the Quick Bill screen is a grid of medicine pictures you tap. Most shops bill on the first day without training; if anything is unclear, support answers on the phone in Hindi or English.

Is it free to download?▾

The Windows app, the Android app and the browser version are free to download and try. The full software is free for 7 days; after that one yearly payment covers every device on the account.

Can I move my medicines from another software?▾

Yes. Upload your medicine list or your old register as an Excel file and it becomes stock with batch and expiry. Opening balances for customers and suppliers can be brought in the same way.
