The short answer
An Ayurvedic or homeopathic store sells many products that are in no national medicine list, in many pack sizes and potencies, often to regulars who come back every month. In Bilzy Pharmacy, add your own products — or bring them in from Excel — with the potency or pack size in the name, keep batch and expiry from each purchase, and send regular customers refill reminders on WhatsApp. Ayurvedic, Unani and homeopathic medicines carry 5% GST. It runs on Windows, Android and a browser from ₹699 a year.
If you also keep allopathic medicines, they come from the built-in list of over 3 lakh and sit on the same bill.

Your regulars come back every month. Remind them before they run out.
A remedy from a small maker deserves the same care in your books as a big brand.
How to set up an Ayurvedic or homeopathic store on Bilzy Pharmacy
- 1
Bring in your product list
Upload your products from Excel, or add them one by one. Put the potency or pack size in the name — “Arnica 30C, 30 ml” — so the counter picks the right one.
- 2
Enter purchases with batch and expiry
Each purchase adds batch-wise stock with its expiry date.
- 3
Use the makers’ schemes
Enter a maker’s scheme and free goods on the purchase, so your real cost is right.
- 4
Add allopathic medicines when you need them
Pick them from the built-in list; they sit beside your own products.
- 5
Bill at the counter
Search by name, pick the product and the quantity; the earliest-expiry batch goes first.
- 6
Remember your regulars
Save regular customers and send refill reminders on WhatsApp when their supply is due.

Tips for an AYUSH counter
Name products one way
Name, potency or strength, then pack — the same order every time makes search reliable.
Record small makers’ batches
Even a small maker’s tonic has a batch and an expiry date. Keep them.
Remind before they run out
A monthly customer who runs out goes to whichever shop is open.
Check dates on slow movers
Rare potencies sell slowly. Look at their expiry every month.

Questions shopkeepers ask
Can I add products that are not in the medicine list?
Yes. Add Ayurvedic and homeopathic products yourself or upload them from Excel, with the potency or pack size in the name. They bill and keep stock like any medicine.
What is the GST on Ayurvedic and homeopathic medicines?
Ayurvedic, Unani and homeopathic medicines carry 5% GST since 22 September 2025. Check the HSN of each product.
Can I send refill reminders?
Yes. Bilzy Pharmacy sends refill reminders to regular customers on WhatsApp.
Is Bilzy Pharmacy only for small medical stores?
No. It is priced for a single counter and built for a busy one: batch-wise stock with earliest-expiry-first billing, the Schedule H1 register, trade rates for firms, a reorder list that compares what each distributor really charged, GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B files, and staff logins with roles.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Billing, the list of over 3 lakh medicines and the reports work offline on the Windows app, and everything syncs when the line is back.
Can I bring my medicines from my old software?
Yes. Upload the medicine list or a purchase bill from Excel and it becomes stock with batch and expiry. Customer and supplier balances come in the same way.
